The Battlefield 5 Reveal Trailer is Here & More Details Announced

As expected, the Battlefield 5 reveal trailer is here. In two and a half minutes, we witness chaotic scenes in what seems very familiar. EA DICE’s famed Frostbite engine is in full effect throughout the trailer, with structures being obliterated by tanks and seamless combat as you move across the battlefield.

We have also learnt since the Battlefield 5 reveal trailer went live that Battlefield 5 will include loot boxes but they will only make cosmetic changes to your character or weapons. EA DICE has also stated that all future multiplayer maps will be free for everyone, and there will not be a season pass for Battlefield 5.

Watch the official Battlefield 5 Reveal Trailer below:

Enter mankind’s greatest conflict with Battlefield V as the series goes back to its roots with a never-before-seen portrayal of World War 2. Assemble your Company of customized soldiers, weapons, and vehicles – then take them on an epic journey through the Tides of War. Experience the most intense, immersive Battlefield yet. You will never be the same.

We can also confirm there will be three separate launches of the game depending on how you go about giving EA your money. EA Access subscribers will get the best head start, with the game launching on Thursday October 11 for subscribers. Battlefield 5 Deluxe Edition pre-orders will jump in on Tuesday October 16, while the game’s official launch in stores will be Friday October 19, more than a week after EA Access players have begun their battle.

Players can gain access to the Battlefield 5 beta by pre-ordering the game. Head to the official Battlefield website for more information.

Battlefield 5 will launch in October on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC platforms.
