EA Announces Battlefield V, Live Reveal Next Week

As the E3 2018 season picks up steam, today we have another huge game to reveal. Today EA announces Battlefield V. Yes, that’s right, after the hugely successful Battlefield One set in World War 1, EA DICE is now quite probably returning the franchise to modern times for the next instalment.

Join us for the Battlefield V Live Reveal on May 23” says the YouTube stream description, “as The Daily Show host Trevor Noah and the DICE development team show you how the battlefield will never be the same.

Trevor Noah himself posted a tweet, calling himself first-and-foremost a gamer. The video shows him playing Battlefield One, in the zombie cell easter egg that gamers finally figured out last week. The cell is pretty empty except for some artwork of a white horse with a dried blood stain smeared across it. Check out Trevor Noah’s video below:

Also, a not-so-cryptic tweet was posted this morning as EA announces Battlefield V, explaining there will be a full live reveal next week, which will stream on YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, as well as the official Battlefield website. Check out the tweet below:

Battlefield V is expected to launch in 2018 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC platforms. Make sure to check back at Rocket Chainsaw for all the latest from the live stream reveal, as well as E3 2018 coverage of Battlefield V.
