  • Gotta go fast! Gotta go…Sonic. A press release issued by Sega has confirmed the blue blur will return to televisions in the form of a CG-animated series tentitively titled Sonic Boom. Will you be watching?
  • The future if Deus Ex is still a little cloudy, but less so than before, as Eidos Montreal have thrown a post up on the official Deus Ex website to talk a little about series. In it, Eidos confirm speculation from earlier Square-Enix fiscal reports, wherein Deus Ex will become part of a wider, multi-medium franchise they’re calling Deus Ex: Universe. We’re expecting smartphone apps, books, comics, and other goodies. Additionally, Eidos has confirmed that a mainline Deus Ex for next generation consoles and PC is currently in development, and will follow Human Revolution canonically. In the timeline. Though not willing to share too many details on the story, Eidos did share a piece of concept art, showcasing what they describe as a social divide between those who’ve rejected augmentation, and the augmented still clinging on to the ideal of their technological renaissance.
