Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Delayed

November 19, 2015

David Anfossi, the head of Eidos Montreal, has just announced that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be delayed to August 23rd 2016 from its original release date in February.

With the excellent critical reception enjoyed by Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the pressure was always going to be high for the sequel. To ensure that they meet the bar, Eidos Montreal have decided to delay the game to allow for more tuning, iterating and refinement.

Following on from the spate of titles that were released with major issues in the last year, it’s refreshing to see more and more developers and publishers delaying titles where appropriate, instead of rushing their games out.
