Final Fantasy XV 101 Trailer And Day One Patch Notes Released

There’s a whole lot going on in Final Fantasy XV and to make sure that you’re up to speed for its release on Tuesday, Square Enix have released a brand new 101 trailer to tell you all about the different mechanics, characters and more in the game so that you know everything you need to before you boot up your copy. You’ll get an overview of the game’s story, a run down of the combat mechanics at play in Final Fantasy XV like its summons, magic system and real time action, as well as more in-depth introductions to Noctis and his companions.

Square Enix have also released the details of what you will find in Final Fantasy XV’s day one update, which they have called the Crown Update. Along with a range of bug fixes, it includes a range of improvements designed to enhance the overall story and combat experience. The full details of the patch are below.

  • Improvements to the camera with new options to better assist and track the action in tight spaces and to improve visibility during battles
  • The addition of an ability tree for the Wait Mode function improves the strategic element of this feature
  • Players can obtain the “Beast Whistle” which can be used to call monsters to battle
  • New event scenes and scenes from KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV and the “Omen” trailer have also been added to the game to make the story and timeline of events within the FINAL FANTASY XV universe even easier to follow for newcomers
  • For those who enjoy collecting items, the upgrade will also add a wider variety or recipes and fish with the addition of a gallery to keep track of culinary discoveries
  • Implementation of social media support, allowing the photos Prompto takes along your journey to be uploaded to Facebook and Twitter.
