PureArts Orlog Kickstarter Launches July 13

UPDATE: The Kickstarter has launched this morning with a few different options for fans. A standard edition gives you the base Orlog game, while the Tavern edition includes a bonus linen game mat, Valhalla themed dice, and an exclusive Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Eivor themed drinking horn. These three items can all be purchased as add-ons to the base game if you don’t want to buy all three! The campaign has already reached its second stretch milestone too, meaning all backers will get real stones and real coins to play with! Full details on the Orlog Kickstarter page.

PureArts and Ubisoft have today revealed that there will be a kickstarter campaign starting on July 13 allowing fans of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s in-game dice game to get their hands on a physical PureArts Orlog.

The PureArts Orlog Upcoming Project page went live on Kickstarter today, which you can bookmark and also set a personal reminder to be notified of the launch in just two weeks.

Orlog is a fictional 1v1 viking dice game that takes place in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla where players attack and defend using dice rolls to try and deplete the other player’s health gems while guarding their own. Earlier this year, PureArts released a Deluxe Edition in extremely limited numbers, selling out in just 24 hours. The Deluxe Edition was a pricey $199 USD and was only available to North America residents, however this Kickstarter edition will be available for worldwide delivery, and we expect it will be a little cheaper for the base game too.

We’ve also been informed that backers that pledge in the first 48 hours will be rewarded with some exclusive bonus items. Check out the first image of what the PureArts Orlog dice game objects could look like!

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launched on the 10th of November 2020 to stellar reviews (see our review here!), and has since enjoyed a decent amount of post-launch content while Ubisoft works to patch out its bugs. The recent Wrath of the Druids expansion included the drinking mini-game, but unfortunately had no Orlog leaving fans of the dice game wanting more.

Now with the Kickstarter campaign, you will be able to buy your very own customised Orlog game, and even perhaps score a discount on purchasing more than one so that you can gift it to your friends and family.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. For more information head to the official website.
