Mass Effect: Andromeda Teaser Trailer: N7 Is Coming

November 2, 2016

Electronic Arts today held a financial conference call for their results of Q3 2016, and with it came some eagerly anticipated information regarding next year’s blockbuster Mass Effect: Andromeda. Firstly, they gave us a Mass Effect: Andromeda teaser trailer which runs for a minute. The trailer shows a footprint on a moon, our moon. It then pans out to see Earth, then a civilisation on the moon, and then finally a massive space station.

The Mass Effect: Andromeda teaser trailer encourages players to join the Andromeda Initiative, a newsletter that will include ‘critical mission information, special training opportunities, and be eligible for reward upon completion.” No news yet on what the reward will be, but if you’re planning on playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, orientation will begin on November 7 later this week. November 7 is N7 day: N7 is a rank in Mass Effect which applies to Alliance graduates of the Interplanetary Combatives Training program.

EA also admitted in the Q3 financial conference call that they have been known to delay games in the past if it was required to ensure a successful launch, and today they confirmed they are willing to delay Mass Effect: Andromeda as much as it needs, however currently the game is on track. EA’s CFO Blake Jorgensen stated, “Mass Effect is tracking extremely well, the game looks beautiful, and we’re really pleased with its progress. However, as you’ve seen, we’re willing to make moves in launch dates if we feel that it’s necessary to deliver the right player experience.
