Crusader Kings 3 is launching at the start of September, a grand strategy game by Paradox Development Studio and today we want to take you on a journey through the different gameplay mechanics using the useful ‘Introducing CK3’ series of trailers posted on Paradox’s official YouTube channel.

The game, set in the Middle Ages, gives you the power to influence dynasties and kingdoms, to build your own or take control of another, but every choice has a consequence, and every kingdom has its secrets. At launch, it will have two start dates: 867 (Power shift in the Byzantine Empire) or 1066 (The Norman invasion of England).

Paradox has been developing Crusader Kings 3 for around five years now, and we’re looking forward to getting our hands on it later this month but for now, let’s take a look at several trailers explaining the core mechanics of the game.

Introducing CK3 – A Crusader Kings 3 Series

Characters

In this first video One Proud Bavarian will help us understand the gallery of characters that we will play and what they are made of!
