Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Is Receiving Another Free Update

August 24, 2020

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 feels like a game that won’t ever stop popping up. Released way back in 2016, the game has kept selling and kept receiving fantastic update support ever since. Coming into the latter half of 2020 and with Dragon Ball Kakarot released earlier this year, we thought maybe that support would start to wane, but Bandai Namco has put that idea to bed. Celebrating the game hitting six million sales, Bandai Namco are putting out another massive free Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update.

There’s plenty of content already in the game, but the latest update will build on this in a few ways. Firstly there’s a new playable character, Supreme Time Kai, an extra mission, more fighting techniques, mascots and more. It’s a sizeable update and at a cost of absolutely nothing, it looks pretty good. Check out the full details of the update below:

  • Supreme Time Kai, a new playable character
  • One extra mission
  • 9 new fighting techniques
  • 15 new mascots
  • 10 new companion character models
  • 3 extra attack missions
  • 50 new hero colloseum figurines

This free Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update will be available as of August 26th on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more information, check out the trailer below or the game’s official website.
