This week in the Steam Weekend Bargain Bin are two titles to play for free all weekend.
The first is Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad: Game of the Year edition, a tactical World War II shooter. Being the Game of the Year edition means a truckload of new features, such as two new gameplay modes, a map and retweaked and rebalanced game mechanics. The Steam Digital Deluxe edition which can be purchased on top of these additions include four new weapons, hats for Team Fortress 2 and two new characters for Killing Floor. If you like what you played over the weekend, Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad can be purchased at 75% off, costing USD$9.99 for the standard GOTY edition and USD$12.49 for the Digital Deluxe edition.
The second game is the turn-based strategy darling Sid Meier’s Civilization V. The 75% discount also applies to the game should you wish to purchase it after your weekend of endless clicks and swearing at the AI, which applies to the standard version of the game (USD$17.49), the Game of the Year edition (USD$22.49) and the downloadable content. The GOTY edition features a hefty amount of extras, such as a number of Map, Civilization and Scenario packs, as well as a digital soundtrack for your listening pleasure.
