Following various leaks on the internet over the last few weeks, today Bethesda confirmed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered will be released on October 28 this year on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The game will feature enhanced visuals over the original including improved depth of field, new screen space reflections, new snow shaders and new water shaders. There will also be mods available on the console versions for the first time. The reveal trailer highlighted a Friendly Dragons mod where dragons can be tamed and will accompany the player.
