Blacksea Odyssey is the debut game from the Florida-based independent developer Blacksea Odyssey.

Originally prototyped in Global Game Jam 2015, Blacksea Odyssey is a space based, top-down shoot em up that looks like a cross between Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and Monster Hunter. Armed with your trusty space harpoon, you will fly through the fully destructible, procedurally generated levels hunting and tearing apart enemies and massive bosses alike.

Blacksea Odyssey also includes permadeath and a steep difficulty curve, so lovers of devilishly difficult games might want to look out for this game.

Blacksea Odyssey will be released on PC and unspecified consoles in Q2 of 2016.
