During its latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed that Yoshi’s Woolly World will be coming to the 3DS.

The game’s full title will be Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World, and will feature all the levels from the Wii U version. There will also be new levels that are played while controlling Poochy, a dog-like creature who often appears in the Yoshi platformers. Poochy has a high jump ability and its jumps can be timed to collect lots of beads. Poochy-Pups are also being introduced, and they will alert players to hidden secrets and items.

A new Poochy Woolly Amiibo will be released both separately and bundled with the game on release.

Nintendo is also teaming up with stop motion animation company Dwaf to produce 30 Yoshi’s Woolly World animated shorts. The clips will showcase the daily lives of Poochy and Yoshi.

Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World and the Poochy Amiibo will be released on 4th February 2017 in Australia.
