Microids and PlayMagic have announced that the anticipated remake of XIII will be released on 10 November this year on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. A brand new gameplay trailer has also been released to accompany the announcement, showcasing the game’s gorgeous cel-shaded graphics.

The remake is based on the original 2003 XIII which was released on GameCube, Xbox, PS2 and PC. The title is a first person shooter where you play as the titular XIII, a man who awakens wounded and with amnesia on a deserted beach on the East Coast of America. Even with his failing memory, XIII discovers he has the reflexes of a highly trained fighter and sets off in search of his past and to discover his role in the murder of the President of the United States of America.

The game features 34 levels in its solo campaign as well as a multiplayer mode. There will be a limited edition released at launch which includes a copy of the game, a two-sided metal case, three art cards, and 13 in-game weapon skins. If you pre-order the game before launch you’ll also get the Golden Classic Weapons Skins Pack, which contains a pistol and golden knife.
