May 4, 2016

Microsoft has announced new details about their plans for E3 2016 via a press release.

As previously announced, their main E3 conference will take place on June 13th, at 2:30am AEST. The conference will be aired live on Xbox.com, the Xbox Twitch Channel, and via the Xbox Live Events Player on Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.

Microsoft has also revealed that they will be bringing back Xbox Daily: Live @ E3. Hosted by Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, Larry Hryb, and Xbox Live’s Acey Bongos, Graeme Boyd, the show will be one-hour long and feature exclusive announcements, recaps of breaking news and a variety of guests. Two episodes will be filmed and air on Wednesday, June 15 and Thursday, June 16 from 9am-10am AEST. These can be watched on the same communication channels as the E3 conference.

Last by not least, Microsoft will also be partnering with Twich this year to bring wall-to-wall coverage of E3. There will be behind the scenes features, recaps of announcements and real-time demonstrations of Xbox games. Twitch will be airing the coverage Wednesday-Friday at 3am-9am AEST.
