Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase Announced For E3

May 27, 2021

Xbox + Bethesda E3 2021

2020 was a year to forget for games events. With a global pandemic happening, gaming events all over the world were cancelled and so news was instead released sporadically. 2020 was largely missing those big, bombastic events and streams we were used to, and so it felt like an off-year for game announcements. Now, E3 is back as an all digital event and Xbox & Bethesda have just announced their joint press conference.

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will take place on Monday June 14th at 3AM AEST, smack back at the beginning of the Queen’s Birthday public holiday, and will run for roughly 90 minutes. While there weren’t any specifics, it was confirmed that the showcase will be focused on games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda and many other game creators from around the world.

Given Xbox don’t have a confirmed release date for a single Xbox Series X|S game so far, we’re expecting some big announcements out of this show. Some of the expected announcements of games to be shown are likely to be Halo Infinite and Psychonauts 2while rumours are also pointing to Bethesda’s Starfield being shown.
