Gamescom 2020: WWE 2K Battlegrounds Commentators Get You Pumped!

2K Sports has today released a new trailer for their upcoming over-the-top wrestling game showing how the WWE 2K Battlegrounds commentators will help make each match feel even more over-the-top and memorable.

The WWE 2K Battlegrounds commentators are Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and Mauro Ranallo which runs in line with the ‘Clash of the Eras’ theme that the game has been portraying ahead of its launch next month. Lawler has been a WWE commentator for as long as anyone can remember, while Ranallo will be debuting in his first video game.

WWE 2K is taking a break from its yearly standard game to bring us WWE 2K Battlegrounds. Last year they brought us WWE 2K20 which we gave 2 and a half stars, saying, “WWE 2K20 was not ready when it launched last week, and Visual Concepts have said a patch will not be ready until at least next week. The future of WWE 2K20 balances on this patch and whether they can fix a lot of the frustrating bugs and glitches that must have been present in alpha and beta testing.
