ANZ fans of World of Tanks have a new season of esports to look forward to, as Wargaming have announced a Season 2 of their ANZ Premier League begins next Friday, 12 March, running until Saturday 21 May. The month-long league will feature eight city and state-based teams including the Adelaide Action X, Brisbane Bulldogs, Melbourne Matildas, Perth Panthers, North Sydney Sentinels, South Sydney Skorpions, Auckland Archers and Christchurch Conquerors.

Games will be broadcast on the official ANZ Twitch channel, while the league has partnered with esports arena Fortress Melbourne as their production partner, leading to a grand final at the venue in Melbourne on 21 May, COVID-permitting. The league is sponsored by HyperX and Republic of Gamers, with gear being given away during the broadcasts, finalists receiving Cloud II Wireless HyperX headsets and members of the winning team receiving Republic of Gamers monitors.

In the lead-up to the launch, Twitch streamers Bajo and Caaaaate will be broadcasting their own showmatch with their own teams of streamers this Friday, 5 March at 7PM AEDT.
