  • EA Games’ CFO, Blake Jorgensen, has said during a conference call that Titanfall will never come to PlayStation 4 and will remain a Microsoft title “for the life of the franchise”. However, developer Respawn Entertainment’s boss, Vince Zampella, has said that he intends on releasing games for PlayStation 4, “just not the first Titanfall.
  • Halloween is just around the corner, and don’t all the big digital distributors know it. Steam, Desura and GOG.com all have sales on their pick of the best spooky titles, including ParanormalDmC: Devil May Cry and I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream.   • Speaking of horror games, side-scrolling shooter Dark Matter has been pulled from GOG.com and Steam after complaints from users that the game may have been released as an incomplete product. The game allegedly ends suddenly after a certain point with no resolution or satisfactory ending, prompting players to discuss whether or not it was intended to be episodic in nature. GOG.com has also refunded players who bought the game.
  • Joystiq reports that a special version of the Oculus Rift VR headset for Android devices is in the works. Oculus VR, the company behind the much-awaited peripheral, expects that the Android version will launch alongside or close to when the PC version is slated for release.
  • The latest in the long line of Atelier games, Atelier Escha & Logy ~Alchemists of the Dusk Sky~ has been confirmed for Australian release on March 7, 2014.
  • Finally, here’s a trailer for Samarost 3, a title by Machinarium creator Amanita Design that was teased all the way back in 2011.
