WayForward has revealed the first details of the fifth Shantae game.

Titled Shantae and the Seven Sirens, the game will see everyone’s favourite belly-dancing, half-genie hero go to a tropical island with her friends where they discover other Half-Genie allies. But all is not as it seems, as Shantae quickly uncovers the island’s sinister secrets all while learning new dance abilities and transformations. There’s also a new collectible card system that lets players augment Shantae’s powers to suit their play style. All-new and returning characters are set to appear in the game, including Rottytops, Sky, Bolo, and the nefarious Risky Boots. The game will support 4K resolutions on 4K devices.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens is expected to be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC and Apple Arcade. More information, including pricing and a release date will be announced at a later time. No announcement trailer has been released, though we have embedded some screenshots below.
