A few days ago we reported that Amazon Japan had leaked Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate. Publisher Koei Tecmo has now officially announced the game will be coming to Western markets in February 2020 on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.

The Ultimate edition will feature a roster of 177 playable characters – an increase of seven additional characters from the base game. Two of those new characters are Gaia, the Mother Earth Goddess, and Joan of Arc. There will also be a new True ending, new Infinity mode with multi-layered maps, new sacred treasures, additional side-quests and co-op moves as well as a host of tweaks to the UI, HUD and control system.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate will be available both digitally and physically, with those who purchased the base Warriors Orochi 4 game able to upgrade to the Ultimate edition by purchasing the DLC “Ultimate Upgrade Pack“.
