Sony and Naughty Dog have announced Uncharted 4 will be getting a new cop-op survival mode in mid-December.

Survival mode can be played solo or with up to two other players, and will see you fight waves of increasingly powerful enemies. There will be 50 waves spread across ten maps, and after successfully completing ten waves there will be a boss fight. One such boss will be a ghostly Pirate Warlord, featured in the reveal trailer which we have embedded below.

Some waves will include special objectives to complete, such as collecting a certain amount of treasure within a time limit, defeating marked foes, or being limited to using certain weapons. Each completed wave will award you with cash to upgrade your gear throughout the trial and will also go towards your long-term progression.
