With the impending release of the Uncharted 4 Patch 1.21, Naughty Dog’s Senior Communications Manager Scott Lowe discussed via the official PlayStation Blog what fans of Uncharted 4, particularly it’s multiplayer, can expect when it launches this weekend.

Fans can expect a new King of the Hill mode which involves two teams battling for supremacy, attempting to take (and hold) control of capture points across the map. At the end of each game, “Victory Hill” activates, which gives the losing team a chance to stay in the game. If the losing team can capture Victory Hill, the match will extend and give the losing side another attempt at victory.

Uncharted 4 Patch 1.21 will also include new character skins from The Last of Us. Fans of The Last of Us that remember the Savage Starlight comics will be happy to hear the character skins will be based on those comics which were collectible items throughout the story.

There will also be new weapons including the INSAS, Type-95 long guns and a Competition Pistol with a scope.

The free Uncharted 4 Patch 1.21 will be available in the coming days, and will not include any new trophies to collect.
