Uncharted 4 multiplayer footage revealed

During their media event at the Paris Games Week, Sony revealed footage of Uncharted 4‘s multiplayer mode.

The footage showed off a competitive team mode which featured various characters throwing grenades and shooting each other. Maps shown included the ruins of an ancient temple and a Middle- Eastern township. Magic abilities also made an appearance, though it’s unclear how often players will be able to use these powers.

Naughty Dog later confirmed Uncharted 4’s multiplayer will run at 60fps and 900p resolution. This is in contrast to the single player mode’s 30fps and 1080p resolution.

Uncharted 4 is expected to be released on March 2016. A beta featuring the game’s multiplayer deathmatch mode will hit the PSN in December this year.
