Uncharted 4 delayed until May

March 2, 2016

Sony has announced the highly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until May 10 this year.

Sony has cited the main reason for the delay is so Uncharted 4 can have a worldwide release – previously the game was slated for release in Europe and Australia on April 29, while the US had an April 26 release.

“In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time.”

This marks the third time the game has been delayed. Originally, Uncharted 4 was scheduled for a December 2015 release but was pushed back to March 2016, then April and now May. With a consistent release worldwide though, this means spoilers should be more easily avoidable for fans.
