Big Star Games has today announced the release date for their upcoming top-down shooter Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days. The game will launch on Steam on May 18, 2017, with an Xbox One launch due later in the year.

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days has you committing the perfect crimes whilst allowing you to travel briefly back in time to change the way you play. Controlling the legendary six characters, the game’s unique strategy looks like a refreshing take on the top-down shooter genre.

Along with the release date, Big Star Games also uploaded an official cinematic trailer which shows some gameplay. You can check it out below:

Reservoir Dogs is a 1992 Quentin Tarantino cult classic movie which helped launch Tarantino’s early career however a decent game to reflect the movie’s legendary status has never been successfully created. In 2006 a Reservoir Dogs game launched to mediocre reviews, and was actually refused classification here in Australia.
