The Witcher 3 Is Now 4K on PS4 Pro

October 6, 2017

CD Projekt Red has just released Patch 1.50 and Patch 1.51 (the standard and enhanced editions of the games get separate patches) for The Witcher 3, giving improved stability in certain areas and finally PlayStation 4 Pro 4K and HDR support.

The update should be immediately available and clocks in at around 130MB. It should begin automatically downloading to your PlayStation 4 console the next time you turn it on if you have the automatic settings selected.

The Witcher 3 launched on Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in May 2015, and had two stellar expansions since then, each adding dozens more hours to what was already a massive open-world RPG.

If you’ve got a PlayStation 4 Pro and haven’t yet played The Witcher 3, there has never been a better time than right now, and also you should be able to find the complete edition for a great price pretty easily.

CD Projekt Red recently celebrated the 10 year anniversary of The Witcher series, and provided fans with a free wallpaper to celebrate the event.
