The Xbox Store has seemingly leaked the release date for The Surge 2 ahead of this year’s E3. Available now for pre-order on Xbox One, the game is listed as releasing on 23 September, 2019. The game will also be available on PS4 and PC.

The Surge 2 takes place a few months after the events of the first game, though players won’t control Warren this time around instead creating their own custom character. The game will be set in Jericho City, a locale that will feature bigger environments to explore. Players will fight ferocious foes as they survive and discover the secrets hidden in the city.

Pre-orders include bonus DLC; the URBN Gear Pack which features Warren’s Cutter from the original game, the URBN armour set, the URBN Judgement Axe, the URBN Skimmer Drone, a Lootscan.exe Radar Module, and a “unique online message icon”.
