The Nioh Collection Is Coming To PS5

Much of the time spent coming up to this fledging new generation of console has been spent confirming which games would make the jump from last gen to this gen. We’ve got games like Borderlands 3, DOOM Eternal, ESO and more that are either out or coming soon to PS5 and Xbox Series X. Now, we’ve got out latest entrant into the next gen port category, with the announcement that The Nioh Collection is coming to PS5.

What is The Nioh Collection, you ask? The Nioh Collection is a PS5 collection of remastered editions of both Nioh and Nioh 2 titled Nioh Remastered – The Complete Edition and Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition. Both remastered edition of Nioh and Nioh 2 on PS5 bring together the base games and all of their DLC. You’ll also get remastered visuals that display at resolutions of up to 4K, along with frame rates of up to 120fps, taking advantage of the power of the new generation.

Already own Nioh 2? Well there’s an upgrade path for you, although it isn’t necessarily free. If you own the base game, you can pay an unspecified upgrade fee to get the PS5 version. If you purchase the upcoming Nioh 2 – The Collection on PS4, you’ll be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free.

The Nioh Collection and it’s various component parts releases for PS5 on February 5.
