The Last Of Us Part II State of Play Announced

May 26, 2020

It was only a couple of weeks ago that PlayStation’s last State of Play wrapped up after showing off a good 18 or so minutes of gameplay footage from Ghost of Tsushima, but they’re back again already. This time, they’re showcasing Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II.

After multiple delays and a massive leak, it’s safe to say that the hunger is there for The Last of Us Part II, and while we’ll still be waiting a little longer until it releases, a good, long deep dive into the game is just the thing to hold those hunger pangs at bay. Weighing in at over 25 minutes of footage, Director Neil Druckmann is looking to provide an extended look at the game, and is promising a never-before-seen extended gameplay sequence to close the show out.

You’ll be able to watch the State of Play at PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels at 6AM AEST on Thursday May 28th, before the game launches exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on June 19th.
