The Division Post Launch Plans Announced

February 1, 2016

Ubisoft have announced some early details of their post launch support plans for Tom Clancy’s The Division. In similar fashion to the recently released Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, there will be a number of free updates throughout the year bringing in new features and functionality.

As well as the free updates, there will also be 3 paid expansions releasing over the course of the year, all of which are included in The Division’s season pass. Each expansion will build on The Division, continuing your agent’s journey and progress with new content, gear and gameplay as you fight to take back New York.

The first major expansion, Underground, opens up a new area to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to 3 friends for intense co-op action.

In the second expansion, Survival, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment that will challenge even the most talented agents.

No details have been confirmed for The Division’s third expansion, Last Stand, with more information set to be announced in the future.

As well as these expansions, season pass holders for The Division will also receive an exclusive sawed-off shotgun at launch, exclusive weapons and costumes throughout the year, and special monthly benefits including exclusive content drops and special events.

The Division’s season pass is available in the Gold Edition and Sleeper Agent Edition of the game, as well as separately at launch.
