Super Mario Run coming to iOS on December 15


Nintendo has announced (via Go Nintendo) that Super Mario Run will be launching on iOS on December 15.

The game will be free to download from the App Store and let players try out three different modes. If you wish to have unlimited access, you will have to pay a one-off fee of US $9.99 after downloading. Nintendo has not specified Australian pricing.

Super Mario Run will be released in 151 countries at launch, and support multiple languages including English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, and traditional Chinese. It will be compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.0 or later.

An Android platform release date has not been specified.
