May 28, 2018

As State of Decay 2 comes to being a week old, Xbox Games Marketing General Manager Aaron Greenberg has said thank you to the over one million global players of the game since it dual releases on May 18th for Ultimate Edition purchasers and May 22nd for Standard Edition purchases.

Since launch there have also been more than six million combined hours of gameplay and nearly 3.5 million hours of gameplay watched across Mixer, Twitch and YouTube Gaming from over 41 thousand unique broadcasts. Viewers have been able to watch players create new communities, forge friendships and survival skills contributed to making State of Decay 2 as the game quickly became one of the most watched games post-launch.

Greenberg also stated that during gameplay players have destroyed more that 675 million zombies, set off more than six million firecrackers, eaten over six million bags of snacks, read over two million textbooks and typically survive about three days, while some players have already managed to survive for over an in-game month –  a tough feat by anyones standards.

State of Decay 2 is available now for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
