Star Wars Battlefront II Revealed

April 16, 2017

EA have lifted the lid on their next foray into the Star Wars universe and have officially revealed Star Wars Battlefront II. Star Wars Battlefront II builds on the experience brought by the 2015 reboot, including a new single player campaign. In the campaign you will play as Iden, an elite storm trooper, in an original story that takes place after the second Death Star is destroyed and the Emperor dies at the end of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. With all new Star Wars games being considered canon, could we potentially be seeing the creation of the First Order?

Star Wars Battlefront II will include a range of maps and characters throughout the entire Star Wars timeline, with glimpses of Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey and Kylo Renn during the trailer implying that they will be new hero characters in multiplayer battles. The game has also been confirmed to have offline split-screen co-op, for all of those people out there that love some good old fashioned couch co-op action. The game will also not feature a season pass, instead focusing on keeping maps free so that the playerbase isn’t fragmented over time.

Star Wars Battlefront II is in development for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will release on November 17.
