Marvel’s Spider-Man by Insomniac Games (Sunset Overdrive, Ratchet & Clank) is due out in a little under a month, and today they have uploaded an action-packed one minute Spider-Man gameplay launch trailer showing Spidey slinging through Manhattan taking names and kicking butt.

Spider-Man is a PlayStation 4 exclusive which is shaping up to be one of the best games of the year and quite possibly the best Marvel game to date. The island of Manhattan is absolutely massive, and players will face off against many different villains in the Marvel universe, such as the ones shown in the Spider-Man gameplay launch trailer below.

Spider-Man will run at 30 frames per second on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, and will not include any micro-transactions. Mary Jane, Spider-Man’s love interest, will also be a playable character at certain points throughout the game, and it has also been revealed that fast-travel will not be a simple map selection, but that you will instead need to use New York’s subway system to quickly get around town (why not just swing?). Also expect  outposts in Spider-Man, whereby clearing them out will work towards your game completion and making Manhattan a safer place.
