South Park: The Fractured But Whole delayed… Again

February 10, 2017

Ubisoft has announced at an investor financial briefing that South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed, Polygon reports.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole was originally scheduled to be released in late 2016, was then delayed to Q1 2017 and is now promised to be released during Ubisoft’s next fiscal year which runs from April 2017 to March 2018.

The game’s prequel, South Park: The Stick of Truth, endured similar delays during development. Originally slated for a 2012 release, the final product wasn’t released until March 2014 following internal quality concerns and then-publisher THQ entering administration and selling the license to Ubisoft.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is in development for PS4, PC and Xbox One. Rocket Chainsaw Editor Andrew Cathie had the opportunity to go hands-on with the game at E3 2016, which left some positive impressions.
