Sony has sent out invitations to a special PlayStation Meeting event in New York.

The event will take place in the PlayStation Theater at 3pm Eastern time on 7 September – or 5am AEST, 8 September for Aussies. It has been heavily rumoured that the PlayStation 4 Neo, an upgraded model of the current PS4 console with 4K gaming capabilities, will be formally announced at the show.
