Sega has made the surprise announcement that SolSeraph will be coming to Steam, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch on July 10 this year. The title is being development by Ace Team, who were responsible for Rock of Ages and Zeno Clash.

SolSeraph is one part side-scrolling action platformer, one part top-down strategy. In the game players control the God Helios, who helps rebuild civilization by slaying monsters and demons, and assists in building new cities. The game is a spiritual successor to ActRaiser, which was released in 1990 on the SNES.
