During their Nintendo Direct presentation this morning, Nintendo revealed new details about Luigi’s Mansion 3.

Firstly, Nintendo showed off some new floors of the hotel where the game is set. Players will be able to explore the pyramid setting of the Tomb Suites, a disco floor complete with dancing ghosts and a pirate themed restaurant which features a shark ghost boss. Nintendo also revealed a new Scream Park party mode for two-eight players. In this mode a Luigi team will compete against a Gooigi team in several challenges such as who can defeat the most ghosts, collect the most coins or break the most targets. It appears to be a local multiplayer mode only, as Nintendo didn’t specify any online functionality.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will haunt the Nintendo Switch on 31st October this year.
