  • A group of 4Chan users put together a fake list of instructions for enabling backwards compatibility on Xbox One consoles. Following the instructions will only reward you with a bricked Xbox, rather than Halo 4 being playable on your new console.
  • Time magazine have announced their top 10 games of 2013. The top three spots were taken by Grand Theft Auto V, Assassin’s Creed IV, and Pokemon X and Y.
  • With the game’s Japanese release quickly coming up, Square-Enix have released a new Blitzball trailer for Final Fantasy X HD.

  • Bungie have finally revealed the release date for Destiny. The game will have a worldwide release on the 9th of September, 2014, with the beta starting a little earlier in the year.
  • Ubisoft are thinking about the future of the Assassin’s Creed series, and they they’ve sent an interesting survey to fans to gauge interest. Among the questions, Ubisoft want to know if fans would be interested in a pirate themed spin-off with no assassin elements, and what the most requested features are for a future Assassin’s Creed game.
  • Sony have published a new cinematic trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It’s a rather impressive bit of CG video.
