Images have started appearing on neogaf showing a new, slimmer Playstation 4. While the images may be fake, the timing is right for a Playstation 4 Slim announcement, with Microsoft unveiling the Xbox One S at E3 and Sony holding a PlayStation Meeting in September.

Traditionally, many Playstation redesigns have also come with a price drop, so it will be interesting to see if Sony also drop the RRP with the Playstation 4 Slim ahead or Christmas.

We’ll likely know if this leak is true or not when the Playstation Meeting happens at 5am AEST on September 8th, so stay tuned for more news!
