Developer Psyonix has announced Rocket League will receive a free Rumble mode update in September this year.

The mode adds weapons and power-ups to the goal-scoring mayhem. Some power-ups will boot players across the field or sweep them into a tornado. Others with drag the ball behind players using a leash, and freeze or spike the ball.
