After years of praying, hoping and pleading from fans their wait will finally be over sometime between March and May next year, with Rockstar Games officially announcing Red Dead Redemption 2 via a brand new landing page and new section on their website. Not many details have been confirmed yet, but so far the image has a Playstation 4 and Xbox One logo, implying that like Grand Theft Auto V the game may see an initial release in Autumn 2017 on console and then a later PC port. There was a little bit of flavour text as seen below:
Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.
Expect further details when the debut trailer drops on October 20th in the US, so potentially October 21 here as no time has been confirmed.
