Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Launches On June 11

Coming in at number three on our Most Anticipated Games list, there’s no doubt at all that we’re eagerly awaiting the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The game’s reveal during the June PS5 showcase, combined with subsequent showings, have got us all super excited here at Rocket Chainsaw. Now, we know when we can play the game, with PlayStation confirming its release date.

This was done via a short, new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart trailer and a post on the PlayStation Blog, which revealed that the game’s release date in June 11th, a week before E3 2021 is planned to happen. The trailer doesn’t give much else away, although we got some new art (used as the feature image for this article) giving us another glimpse at the game’s new Lombax character.

PlayStation also confirmed that pre-orders of the game will come with a couple of bonuses: Carbonox armor and an early unlock of the Pixelizer weapon. There will also be a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which comes with five armor sets, a photo mode sticker pack, 20 Raritanium, a digital soundtracks and a digital art book. There’s no current word on the game receiving a physical collector’s edition.

There’s still a few months to wait until Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart releases on June 11th, so check out the new trailer below while you wait.
