Surprise of prior years Rainbow Six Siege made its appearance yet again at Ubisoft’s annual E3 showcase.
Ensuring fans got a full look at the title’s current state of play, the team put on a live co-op demo to demonstrate the strengths of its multiplayer offering. Shout out to the dude with the shielding blocking the hole in the wall. The five-versus-five Terrorist Hunt mode had the team shooting through walls to show off the fancy destruction system, and coordinating their strategy to prevent those oh so nasty terrorists from winning. All in all it looked pretty damn great.
In addition to the multiplayer demo Ubisoft announced that famed actress Angela Bassett, perhaps best known for her portrayal as Rosa Parks, will be joining the production to play “Six”, leader of the counter-terrorism unit at the centre of Siege.
Rainbow Six Siege will be available to play come September this year. In the meantime check out some of Ubisoft’s E3 trailers below.
