Here is the Full Rage 2 Announcement Trailer

May 15, 2018

Bethesda has today released (as promised) a full one minute Rage 2 announcement trailer. The game’s existence was  leaked by Walmart Canada last week when they listed the game online with some very ordinary cover art.

The PR team at Bethesda were quick to jump on the karma train and enjoyed a decent amount of free advertising as the story of the leak spread across the internet.

Bethesda also posted some teaser tweets on its official Twitter account, starting with this subtle shot of Big Ben:

Yesterday Bethesda posted a cheeky short trailer which didn’t really give much insight into the game, however today we can share with you a one minute announcement trailer, with the promise of some gameplay footage tomorrow.

The trailer shows a different kind of world for Rage 2, with the original Rage being in fairly confined spaces it appears Rage 2 will be more open, mixing the original game with what Avalanche Studios are known for – huge open worlds. We can’t wait to see what the gameplay footage reveals tomorrow.

We have also learned that Rage 2 is being developed by Avalanche Studios, known for creating such explosive games as the Just Cause series and 2015’s Mad Max. The original Rage was developed by id Software and came out seven years ago. id Software’s focus has since shifted to online shooter Quake Champions, as well as a possible sequel to the 2016 reboot of DOOM.

With gameplay footage being released tomorrow and E3 2018 just around the corner, expect a lot more information on Rage 2 soon right here at Rocket Chainsaw. Rage 2 is expected to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC platforms.
