Pokémon Presents Livestream Announced

June 17, 2020

Many things changed with the release of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. The series went bigger in scale in a way it never had before and moved towards DLC releases instead of a boxed sequel or third game. Not content with simply releasing the first of these DLC packs, the Isle of Armor, today the Pokémon Company has also announced a Pokémon Presents video that will go live tonight.

Pokémon Presents will be a roughly eleven minute video, which gives ample time for a couple of different things to be seen. According to some translation work done by Serebii, we can expect more details on Isle of Armor to be discussed alongside its release today, as well as information on other products. What those other products are is a mystery, but don’t be surprised if we see information on the Detective Pikachu game currently in development for the Nintendo Switch. Think something similar to the latest Pokémon Direct we had.

Pokémon Presents takes place at 11PM AEST tonight and can be viewed at the following link. Stay  tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for all the announcements that come from it. Want something to read now? You can check out our review of Pokémon Shield here and the latest news on Isle of Armor here.
