It really has been a great week or so for gaming news. We had a Nintendo Direct last week, a PlayStation State of Play today, a bunch of announcements and tonight we’ll get some more announced in a Pokémon Presents.

For the uninitiated, think of Pokémon Presentsas a Nintendo Direct, just all about Pokémon. Unlike a Nintendo Direct a Pokémon Presents doesn’t just cover Nintendo platforms, but also any mobile platforms Pokémon games might be coming to. This means there is never a guarantee we’ll see consoles games in a show, but it’s generally always happened anyway.

Tonight’s Pokémon Presents happens in the backdrop of this year being Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, and so we’re expecting a good numbers of things to be shown. Whether it be an update on New Pokémon Snap! or the reveal of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes, we’re expecting plenty of info over the 20 minutes the show is slated to run for. We might also get some info on other Pokémon 25th anniversary initiatives like limited sets for the trading card game.
