Pokemon Go Plus accessory delayed

July 27, 2016

Nintendo has announced via Twitter that the Pokemon Go Plus accessory has been delayed until September this year.

The accessory was originally planned for a release in late July, and will allow players to interact with Pokemon Go without having to constantly look at their phone. The accessory vibrates and flashes whenever the player is in the vicinity of a PokeStop or Pokemon, and lets them catch the little pocket monster as well.

Nintendo have not disclosed a reason for the delay. For the moment, it seems a power bank is going to be your best option to keep those phone batteries charged.
