Pokemon GO Goes Rural

December 18, 2016

Today via the official Pokemon GO twitter account, developers Niantic revealed players will have better access to catching Pokemon regardless of where they live. This is great news for players who don’t live in built-up areas that may have been struggling to find rare Pokemon or even a nearby Poke-Stop.

The official Pokemon GO tweet can be read below:

With the continuous support from Niantic, players have been rewarded with constant updates, and with the second generation of Pokemon released in Pokemon GO just last week which can only be caught by hatching eggs, players are encouraged to go for long walks in the countryside to clock up those kilometers and catch ’em all.

Pokemon GO is available on Android and iOS devices, as well as Apple Watch. You can also purchase Pokemon GO Plus from leading retailers such as EB Games, which allows you to play the game without getting your phone out.
